Hemimorphite

Hemimorphite is a mineral often found in orthorhombic crystals or botryoidal masses. Characterized by its pale blue to blue-green color, this stone can also be colorless, white, or various shades of gray. Originally mined in Europe, such as at the historic Laurion deposits in Greece, hemimorphite was once confused with smithsonite. Its use is primarily decorative or as a collectible due to its aesthetic qualities, marked by uniquely shaped crystals.
