Description

Stilbite belongs to the zeolite family, a group of aluminum and calcium hydrosilicate minerals. The pebbles presented show a characteristic soft peach color, typical of stilbite, which can vary from white to pink to orange. These minerals are renowned for their pearly luster and their crystalline formations, often in lamellar aggregates or radiating clusters. Stilbite is mainly extracted in India, Iceland, and the United States. It was discovered in the 18th century, and its name comes from the Greek word "stilbein," meaning "to shine," in reference to its luminous luster.
