Lapis Lazuli

Lapis lazuli, prized since antiquity, is a deep blue stone with pyrite inclusions that give it a starry appearance. It was a symbol of power and status, particularly in Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt, where it was used to adorn the jewelry and funerary objects of pharaohs. Lapis lazuli is primarily mined in Afghanistan, but it is also found in Chile and Russia. Its composition mainly includes lazurite, but also calcite, sodalite, hauyne, and nosean.

This stone is sold individually and measures approximately 3 cm.
