Turritella agate

Turritella agate consists of fossilized sea snails, primarily gastropods, embedded in agate. These fossil inclusions generally date back to the Paleogene period, approximately 66 to 23 million years ago. This stone preserves the geological and paleontological history of the period in which it formed. Turritella agates are primarily found in regions where ancient seas receded, leaving behind sedimentary layers rich in marine life. 

This product is sold individually and measures approximately 2 cm.
