Description

Linarite is a unique mineral characterized by its deep electric blue color. This mineral is primarily composed of lead and copper sulfate. First identified in 1822 in the Linares mine in Spain, from which it takes its name, linarite is often found in oxidized zones of lead deposits. It typically occurs as elongated crystals or coatings. The model shown displays crystals embedded in a rock matrix, with brilliant blue hues emerging from the granular textured surface.
