Description

Celestine, also known as celestite, is a mineral composed of strontium sulfate. Its color varies from transparent white to pale blue, and it is often appreciated for its well-formed crystals and clarity. Initially discovered in Sicily in the 18th century, celestine derives its name from the Latin term "caelestis" meaning celestial, in reference to its bluish color reminiscent of the sky. Our model features well-defined crystals with remarkable transparency. The main deposits are found in Madagascar.
