Ruby in zoisite

Ruby in zoisite, also known as anyolite, is a natural composite mineral that combines green zoisite and ruby inclusions. This stone is primarily mined in Tanzania, from which it gets its alternative name anyolite, derived from the Maasai word "anyoli" meaning green. The rubies add touches of vibrant color, ranging from pink to deep red, contrasting sharply with the green of the zoisite. This mineral was first discovered in Austria in the 19th century, and its main deposits are still found in Tanzania, giving it a certain geographical exclusivity.
