Rhodonite, displayed here in polished pebbles, is a pink to red mineral, often mottled with black, belonging to the silicate family. Known for its black manganese inclusions, it displays a naturally contrasting aesthetic. Historically, this mineral has been primarily mined in Russia, Sweden, and Australia. Valued since the 18th century, rhodonite was used in Russia to adorn decorative objects and imperial furniture. Its robustness, combined with its distinctive visual appeal, makes it a popular choice for jewelry and decoration.
