Description

Tumbled scolecite is a variety of mineral from the zeolite group, primarily composed of hydrated calcium silicate. This mineral, recognizable by its white to slightly opalescent color and fibrous texture, is often found in columnar or acicular aggregates. Originating from volcanic regions in India and Iceland, scolecite forms in the cavities of basaltic rocks. Its elegant appearance and smooth polish make it a prized item not only by collectors but also used in decoration and fine jewelry.
