Light amethyst

Light amethyst is a variety of quartz, recognizable by its light purple hue. This stone is primarily mined in South America, particularly Brazil and Uruguay, but also found in Africa and Europe. Historically, amethyst was highly valued, comparable in status to ruby or emerald. Its use dates back to antiquity, employed by Egyptians and Romans to adorn jewelry and decorative objects. Its color can range from a pale violet to a more intense violet.
