Description

The stone called "Moqui" comes from ferruginous sandstones found mainly in the southwestern United States. Resembling a small iron ball, it is characterized by a smooth surface and dark brown hues. Moquis are concretions of sand and iron minerals, formed over millions of years, often found in the desert regions of Utah and Arizona. Historically, they were named after the Moqui tribe (ancestral Hopi), for whom these stones are sacred.

Moquis are sold in pairs, one positive and one negative, measuring approximately 6 cm.
