Light Agate Geodinos

Agate Geodinos are small geodes cut in half, revealing a crystallized interior. Agate, which forms these geodes, is a variety of quartz characterized by its distinct, or sometimes uniform, colored layers. These rock formations generally form in the cavities of volcanic rocks, where minerals, transported by water, are deposited in successive layers. These geodes can be thousands or even millions of years old. Agate was already used by ancient civilizations for the manufacture of ornamental and artistic objects. These agates presented here come from Brazil, famous for its abundance of quality agates.

This geode is sold whole, as a pair, and measures approximately 3 cm.
