Description

This agate geode features an internal cavity lined with quartz crystals, surrounded by a hard shell of volcanic rock. Agate, a type of chalcedony, primarily forms through the accumulation of silica solutions in volcanic rock cavities which, over time, crystallize. Agate geodes are frequently discovered in volcanic regions, with notable sites in South America and several parts of the United States. These formations are the result of geological processes spanning millennia.

This agate geode is sold individually and measures approximately 4 cm.
