Fluorite or fluorite turtle

This turtle is carved from fluorite, also known as fluorspar. This mineral, prized for its intense color range from purple to green, is characterized by its ability to fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Fluorite is primarily mined in China, South Africa, Mexico, and Mongolia and has been used in the creation of ornaments and sculptures since antiquity.
