Description

These small fossilized shark teeth of the species Otodus obliquus, naturally embedded in their sediment matrix, are found in the Oued Zem region of Morocco. This type of fossil commonly dates from the Paleocene to the Eocene, approximately 60 to 40 million years ago. These fossils attest to the robustness and sometimes impressive size of these ancient sharks. These fossilized teeth are often extracted from marine sedimentary formations and are valuable for paleontological studies.

The natural matrix of these Otodus obliquus teeth measures approximately 4 cm. They are sold individually and may vary in color and shape depending on the specimen.
